Aeroplan card's 10% Ultimate Rewards transfer bonus ends December 31

10% bonus on 50,000+ point transfers (25,000/yr cap) → No card transfer bonus

As part of the September 10, 2026 card refresh, Chase is ending the Aeroplan card's 10% bonus on Ultimate Rewards transfers of 50,000 or more points (capped at 25,000 bonus points per calendar year) after December 31, 2026. The monthly bonus of 500 points per $2,000 spent also ends, and grocery/dining earning falls from 3x to 2x; existing cardholders keep the old benefits alongside the new ones through December 31. The card bonus currently stacks with Chase's 20% Aeroplan transfer bonus running through September 30. From January 1, 2027, no card-based transfer uplift remains.

What to do: Transfers of 50,000+ points made by September 30 capture both the 20% Chase bonus and the 10% card bonus; December 31 is the final window for the card bonus alone. Never transfer speculatively.
