American Airlines partnership restricted; award chart and earning changes

Effective January 1, 2018, Alaska and American ended most reciprocal elite benefits and restricted domestic earning to codeshares only. Alaska’s award chart for American flights was revised (some domestic business/first lower, most other bands higher). International American flights continued to earn Alaska miles.
