How this works
Value per point = (cash price − taxes and fees you pay) ÷ points used, expressed in cents. A higher number means each point stretched further. As a rough guide, under 1¢ is weak, around 1.5¢ is solid, and 2¢ or more is excellent — but the right floor is the one you set for yourself. We explain the thinking in Cents per point.
