Events with Amex benefit discontinued for Platinum cardholders

Events with Amex (dedicated Platinum benefit) → general Amex Experiences access only

Effective June 10, 2026, American Express removed Events with Amex as a Platinum Card benefit, according to change-in-terms notices that appeared on cardholder statements in late March 2026. Amex says cardholders can still access special tickets, offers, and cardmember experiences at select events through its general Amex Experiences program, but there is no longer a Platinum-specific events benefit with defined entitlements. The change was communicated alongside the Centurion Lounge access restrictions that took effect July 8, 2026 and the Uber VIP removal on May 7, 2026.
