Fixed award charts replaced by dynamic pricing on Virgin-operated flights

Effective October 30, 2024, Virgin Atlantic made every seat on its own flights available for points and shifted to fully dynamic pricing. Saver-level seats at or below prior chart rates remained available on lower-demand dates (examples as low as 6,000 points economy or 29,000 business JFK–LHR), while peak dates rose substantially (hundreds of thousands of points possible). Surcharges became variable and often lower on off-peak flights; companion vouchers were restructured.

What to do: Dynamic programs create both new low-end opportunities and extreme high-end outliers; search flexibly and act on Saver space when it appears.
