Free guest and authorized-user lounge access ends for Venture X
Free (guests and authorized users) → $45/guest; $125/year per authorized user
Effective February 1, 2026 (announced June 2025), Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders lost complimentary guest access at Capital One Lounges, Landings, and Priority Pass lounges, and authorized users lost automatic lounge access entirely. Guests now cost $45 per adult ($25 for children) at Capital One Lounges and $35 at Priority Pass lounges, while authorized-user lounge access costs $125 per year each. Guest privileges are retained only by accounts spending $75,000 or more per calendar year, with 2025 spend counting first. This dismantles what had been one of the card's defining benefits since launch.
What to do: If you rely on family lounge access, weigh the $125 authorized-user pass or the $75K spend threshold against other premium cards.
