Lufthansa lounge access removed from Platinum and Centurion cards
Lufthansa Business and Senator Lounge access (Platinum) → no access
Effective October 1, 2026, American Express and Lufthansa are ending their lounge agreement, and the Platinum Card, Business Platinum Card and Centurion Card will no longer grant access to any Lufthansa lounge. The change was announced April 10, 2026. Until then, Platinum cardholders flying a Lufthansa Group airline could enter Lufthansa Business Lounges on any ticket and Senator Lounges on a business class ticket, while Centurion cardholders could access Lufthansa First Class Lounges in Frankfurt and Munich. Centurion Lounge, Priority Pass and other Global Lounge Collection access is unaffected.
What to do: Transits through Frankfurt or Munich before September 30 can still use the benefit; after that, only Priority Pass-affiliated lounges remain.
