Resy dining credit restricted to venues marked eligible
Effective August 1, 2026, the Resy statement credits on the American Express Platinum and Gold cards apply only at U.S. restaurants displaying a "Resy Credit eligible" badge on the Resy website or app at the time of purchase, rather than at all Resy-listed venues. At launch, roughly 200 of about 10,000 listed venues were not marked eligible, largely tied to the ongoing Tock integration. American Express states that no previously eligible venues were removed and that more venues will be added as Tock restaurants become bookable on Resy. The practical change is that eligibility is now venue-specific and can change at any time, so cardholders should verify the badge before dining.
What to do: Check for the "Resy Credit eligible" badge on the venue's Resy page before counting on the credit.
