Velocity receives transfers from US programs (Capital One to Virgin Red/related paths, Marriott Bonvoy, and others usable by US members). Staggered changes announced October 2024: domestic economy lead-in reduced from 17 October 2024; partner/international award increases and domestic rises effective for bookings from 21 January 2025; base earn on Virgin flights cut from 5 to 4 points/$ from 2 April 2025 (with co-brand exceptions); status credit move to spend-based and eligible-sector removal effective 1 October 2025. Consolidated as one entry because the changes form a single announced package; the 21 January 2025 award repricing is the largest redemption impact for US transferable holders.
