Access award rates quietly raised 3–11% five months after launch

In late March 2026 (date approximate; documented March 26), Singapore Airlines quietly increased the cost of its dynamically priced KrisFlyer Access awards, which launched November 1, 2025 as part of the program's broader award changes. Rates rose roughly 3–4% in First and Business Class and up to about 11% in Premium Economy and Economy. Because Access awards have no published chart, the change was made without any notice and surfaced only through independent tracking. KrisFlyer receives 1:1 or near-1:1 transfers from Chase, American Express, Citi, Capital One, and Bilt, so the change affects US members redeeming transferred points when Saver and Advantage space is sold out.

What to do: Treat Access awards as a last resort and price them against cash fares each time; the unpublished rates can move again without notice.
