Effective September 15, 2026, Wyndham Rewards expands its fixed free-night pricing from three tiers (7,500 / 15,000 / 30,000 points) to four (5,000 / 15,000 / 30,000 / 45,000 points). The new top tier applies to a small number of the program’s most elevated hotels and represents a 50% increase from the prior maximum. Hotels will be redistributed across all tiers at the same time; the vast majority are expected to remain in the three lowest tiers. Bookings made before the effective date are honored at the prior rate, and any subsequent drop in rate triggers an automatic points refund.

What to do: Book desirable top-tier properties before September 15 to lock current pricing.
