Award prices rise and Round the World awards discontinued; one-way bookings added
For reservations and tickets issued on or after June 24, 2025, ANA raised international award prices across multiple zones and cabins, with the steepest increases in premium cabins — high-season first class between Japan and North America reached 150,000 miles one-way. The same date, ANA discontinued its Star Alliance Round the World award, long regarded as one of the best uses of the program; tickets issued by June 23, 2025 remained valid. This was ANA's second devaluation in fourteen months, following the April 2024 chart increases. As a partial offset, one-way award bookings became available for the first time, including on partners. ANA Mileage Club receives 1:1 transfers from American Express Membership Rewards.
What to do: Low and regular season ANA awards remain reasonable; avoid high-season premium cabins where increases were largest.
