For bookings made on or after August 5, 2025 (announced January 22, 2025, with full charts published in March), Qantas raised Classic Flight Reward prices by roughly 5–20%, with the largest increases on long-haul premium cabins; carrier charges on premium awards rose at the same time, and Classic Upgrade Rewards and the Oneworld Classic Flight Reward chart increased commensurately. Los Angeles–Sydney first class rose 20% from 162,800 to 195,400 points one-way, with business and premium economy on the route up the same percentage. It was the program's first Classic Reward increase since 2019, and members were given over six months to book at prior rates. Qantas Frequent Flyer receives 1:1 transfers from American Express Membership Rewards and Citi ThankYou Rewards.

What to do: Qantas publishes its charts and gives long notice; lock awards early in future rounds.
