Five-tier award chart replaces three-tier system; peak Category 8 rises to 75,000 points

World of Hyatt moved from Off-Peak/Standard/Peak pricing to Lowest/Low/Moderate/Upper/Top tiers. The top rate for a Category 8 standard room rose from 45,000 points to 75,000 points. On the same date, 112 properties moved up a category and 24 moved down. The changes apply to new bookings from May 20, 2026; previously confirmed awards keep the old rates.

What to do: Book peak-date stays at higher-category properties before residual inventory under old rates disappears.
