Long-haul premium cabin award rates rise; third increase since October 2023

Effective May 1, 2026 (announced late March 2026), Cathay Pacific raised Asia Miles award rates on its own flights for premium economy and business class in medium and long-haul distance bands, generally by 1,000–4,000 miles one-way, while a few short-haul premium awards decreased by 1,000–2,000 miles. Partner award rates were not affected. This follows earlier increases in October 2023 and April 2025; long-haul business awards have risen roughly 40% over that span.
