Partner award chart removed; dynamic pricing extended to partners with immediate price rises
United removed its published Star Alliance/partner award chart without advance notice and moved partner awards to dynamic pricing. Many partner awards immediately rose approximately 10% (examples: Europe partner economy and business). This completed the shift begun with United-operated flights in November 2019.
What to do: Once partner charts disappear, residual fixed pricing evaporates quickly; redeem remaining high-value partner awards promptly.
