Standard room award cap rises to 250,000 points per night
200,000 points (max standard room) → 250,000 points
On September 9, 2025, Hilton raised standard room award pricing at top-tier properties without notice, with the most expensive redemptions moving from a 200,000-point cap to 250,000 points per night — the third such increase in under a year, after the cap rose from 120,000–150,000 earlier in 2025. Properties hit included the Waldorf Astoria Maldives and Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. Hilton partially rolled back some increases on November 12, 2025, though many rates remained above pre-devaluation levels and the 250,000-point ceiling stands.
