The Edit credits restricted on back-to-back stays at the same property
Both $250 Edit credits usable on back-to-back stays → Restriction withdrawn as an error — both credits still work on back-to-back stays
Around August 10, 2026, a Chase Travel guide page began stating that back-to-back stays at the same Edit property beginning within 24 hours of the previous checkout count as a single stay, with only the first booking earning The Edit's $250 credit. The language was spotted August 15 and removed by August 17–18. On August 18, a Chase spokesperson confirmed to Thrifty Traveler that the guide contained incorrect information and that no changes have been made to the credit. Doctor of Credit reports data points of both credits still posting on back-to-back stays. The restriction was never enforced.
What to do: No action needed. The restriction was withdrawn; booking two consecutive two-night stays at the same property still earns both $250 credits.
